Misting Attachment

This misting attachment will convert any Contender water cooled platen or magnetic heatsink to a mister instead of a flood type cooling system. When used in conjunction with a submersible pump and air compressor it will create an adjustable mist spray that can be directed to the grinding belt or directly onto the work piece. This is very useful when grinding thin edges and sharpening heat treated blades. The mist makes less of a mess than the flood type system and is more efficient in cooling. The spray is adjustable and with the air off will act as a standard flood system. Turn the water flow off and it will just be an air blast. This is useful in keeping down dust and also heat build up.

Includes 1/8 airline and a push-to-connect fitting.

Attaches to standard 1/4 LocLine hose.

Requires an air compressor and air fittings.
