7 Axis Articulating Work Rest

from $500.00

Built to be the most robust and versatile articulating work rest for knife makers! Designed and tested in conjunction with REK LLC. After trying all kinds of different ideas, we have finally built what we think is the ultimate work rest. This is a standalone, modular design that can be added to any grinder that accepts at least two 1.5-inch square tool arms. Extremely user friendly and capable of being set up left or right-handed. Used in either vertical or horizontal grinding configurations, this work rest can complete any grinding task. Also, it is ready for wet grinding as everything but the table tops themselves are made from stainless steel or aluminum. Different table tops can be swapped out by either removing two bolts or, if optioned with the electromagnet set up, a push of a button.

Features include:

- Standard four directional .375x4x6 laser cut and machine beveled steel table top with locating dowels.

- Optional .375x6x24 laser cut table meant for jig grinding.
